I didn't REM GenMAC out of CONFIG.SYS, so I can't tell whether the long delay at the B57 load line is indeed B57 hanging up or GenMAC *not* displaying its info for some time. Can anyone confirm this? BTW, I am currently *not* using ACPI on this T43.
MJ's desktop has a B57 in it. No genmac (or wireless) on that machine. IIRC it doesn't have a long delay at that point in bootup. Not sure what
driver level I'm using.
I can poke deeper if this will be useful.
