Bob makes a good point - see if you have a defined default route or netmask in
the tcpip setup.  If so, you may be getting multiple defaults/net definitions. 
I've had DHCP get all fouled up trying to define routes in the presence of
hard-coded values.  DNS is very prone to this but it rarely causes problems as
it just happens to work in spite of your help <g>.
