Yes, I have seen that with some projectors. I've never figured out the real cause of the problem, but I have seen it. Often, the projector will display, for a very short time, a message about "...incorrect or incompatible signal..." [sic] I've always checked and the resolution and scan rates are what the projector specs say are supported. Recently, the projector gave me this problem for 1.5 of a 2.0 day seminar. All of a sudden, at the end of the second day, it just started working correctly.
