I think you have the hard part done.
I am assuming that you already have your wireless NIC installed and working.

Not a step by step but here is what is needed.
You need a DHCP server. I used the one that is shipped on the eCS CD. There
are a few DHCP servers that are available and much easier to set up than the
one I use.
In the "System Setup" -> "Network" -> "TCP/IP" -> "TCP/IP Configuration (local)"
If you use your wireless on the road getting it parameters from DHCP you need
to change it to a fixed IP address such as 192.168.1.1.
You should already have a "default route" on the "Routing Page" tab set to your
ISPs router, if not you need to add one. Near the bottom of the page is a
check box labeled "IP Forwarding", check it.
Either connect to the internet with your wired NIC or your Verizon NIC . After
that another computer can connect to your computer through the wireless NIC and
get to the internet.
At the SCOUG demo I had my laptop and connected although I was not a planed
part of the demo. Another person had a PDA and connected also. I was a little
surprised at the speed, I had expected the connection to be slower than it was.

I have been retired for about 8 years. I don't seem to have any more free time
available now than I had when working, seems other things fill up the day.
