It may have changed some physical setting parameter on the card which in tuirn has stopped the eCS configuration from working. Given two removable PCMCIA cards are affected however this is unlikely. I would check the BIOS settings however. Another possible is that the IRQ allocated to PCMCIA/Cardbus has changed and now conflicts with e.g. USB. Under Windoze there are less problems with IRQ conflicts as windoze simply doesn't check so often as OS/2. Try disabling anything you don't use in the BIOS - e.g. Infrared, parrallel printer port.
