and then stopped. Thinkpad T23, eCS 1.1.3 (?) PC Card Cisco 350.Did you change anything on the Windoze side (service pack, security patch) ? It may have changed some physical setting parameter on the card which in tuirn has stopped the eCS configuration from working. Given two removable PCMCIA cards are affected however this is unlikely. I would check the BIOS settings however. Another possible is that the IRQ allocated to PCMCIA/Cardbus has changed and now conflicts with e.g. USB. Under Windoze there are less problems with IRQ conflicts as windoze simply doesn't check so often as OS/2. Try disabling anything you don't use in the BIOS - e.g. Infrared, parrallel printer port.
DLINK Wap, using MAC address filtering.
It works ok when booted to W2k, but eCS won't get off the ground. XWLAN
widget just shows kakhi color. Also, wired networking works.
Same failure with a Cisco 340.
Running my wireless script, DHCPmon keeps sending discover messages but
nothing comes back; it doesn't get an IP address. Pinging the wap by ip
address says "no route to host".
XWLAN shows radio enabled and using the right profile with the SSID of the
wap. Hovering on XWLAN shows 'Searching'.
I can't think what I might have done to this machine recently to mess this
up. I did install OO 2.04 (which brought in a new libc). eCSNT shows no
recent activity.
Ideas and/or suggestions?
