The 8139 is wired ethernet and has a native OS/2 driver, you don't need 
to use Genmac.

As for auto switching between wired and wireless, I do believe this has 
been requested. What happens at present is that if XWLAN (not genmac 
itself) sees that you are connected to the same network at the same time 
via wireless and wired, it pops up a message and asks you which you wish 
to operate on.

Is this sufficient for your needs ?
