Hello Lewis:Apologies for the late follow-up, Mark. As has been suggested, one of the 1802 corrections should work for you. More info may be found here: http://www.thinkwiki.org/wiki/Problem_with_unauthorized_MiniPCI_network_card
I've run into what seems to be a significant problem.
When I install a miniPCI card, I cannot boot. I get
the error message:
///
1802: Unauthorized network card is plugged in
- Power off and remove the miniPCI network card.
The Mini-PCI network card is not supported on
this computer. Remove it.
///
Is this fatal? Or can something be done to allow
BIOS recognition of the card? (Like a BIOS update)
