It should be noted that the T43 range has a dial-up WinModem that does not have eCS / OS2 support, so in response to your question, no the modem will not work. If I remember correctly, if you get a WiFi enabled version of this Thinkpad, they can use different models of the mini-PCI WiFi card so you will need to check if your specific card is supported. I believe the NIC on these are Broadcom (supported) and the Video is supported by Scitech SNAP - but remember that that company is/has sold that technology so further updates for OS/2 may not be coming, so it's probably worth checking for alternatives.
