If you download and read the hardware maintenance manual from: http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/site.wss/document.do?sitestyle=lenovo&lndocid=MIGR-4PER6S You'll find that the laptop has a Mini-PCI slot that can take a WiFi card. You'll need to remove the battery and then unscrew the panel as shown in the manual and then you will be able to see if your particular model has the WiFi antennas built in. If so - you can go to eBAY and buy an Intel 2200BG based Mini-PCI Wifi card, run the Int18 fix utility if it's not an IBM card, to stop the Bios rejecting it and then install the Windows drivers (from the Intel web site), and you have a WiFi equipped laptop ! If you wish to run eCS and Wifi (the system is OS/2 certified) come back here for more info or refer to my article on voice at: http://www.os2voice.org/VNL/past_issues/VNL0207H/feature_5.html Cheers/2 Ed. =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= This message is sent to you because you are subscribed to the mailing list .
