[global]
workgroup = SAMBA
security = SHARE
[public]
comment = Public Stuff
path = c:/shares
public = yes
writable = yes
guest ok = yes
If that is OK, then how to I connect to this share on a Windows system?
ie. how do I address it?
The Samba server is 192.168.0.17 and I have created a hosts file on the
Windows machine which has
192.168.0.17 server
Should I be able to connect connect using
\\server\public
or even
\\192.168.0.17\public
