Several weeks ago someone shared how they had set up their computer to share their Internet connection through their Verizon card with other computers on their home network.  I thought I saved that email, but now I cannot find it.  Could someone please forward it to me or point me to the proper place to get it?  I am sending to OS2-Wireless and eCS because I cannot remember which list it was.

I saw the demo at the last SCOUG meeting.  The setup of a computer to do the
routing is easy, just two NICs and set ipgare on.  The problem is getting the
Verizon pccard working.  Steven Levine can help with the drivers for the pccard.

Hello Bob,

I have been using the Verizon card under eCS for several years now, so that is no problem.

The email I saw was almost a step-by-step how-to for dummies like me.  I'm so sorry I cannot find it now.

I will retire in two months from my job which has had me on the road for three years now.  As soon as I retire, I am planning to finish the OS2Voice article I started on my experiences with the Verizon card.  Sorry for the delay.

Y'all have a great day!

Stu, I'm not sure if that posting was on this list, but the list archives are located at http://mail.2rosenthals.com:8100/Lists/os2-wireless_users/List.html. The search feature is rudimentary, so you may want to narrow this by going to google.com, entering your criteria there, and appending "site:2rosenthals.com" (without the quotes, of course).

That same google technique should work for the eCS mailing list, as well (the server port is immaterial).

Thank you Lewis!
Have a great day!

Stu
