The most expensive media is not always the one that will work best in a particular burner. I would suggest you buy single DVD-Rs or better still DVD-RWs from other sources and see if you still have the problems. Another option would be to install the OS/2 version of DVDDAO under eCS, to rule out an eCS issue.
