If unable directly with OS/2 could a windoze laptop be used to run the modem > hooked to a router for our fav OS? That will work. I have connected to another laptop running OS/2 that had a PCCARD cell modem. So the path was wireless from my PC to the other PC which passed the data out the cell modem to the internet. > 5. Are claimed speeds reasonably reliable on such modems? My guess would be that they are giving the maximum speed if there are no other cell users for a tower. As in any network the load will determine the throughput. -- Robert Blair
