Office2000 to > Office2007 for them is eye-watering! And the reason they felt they NEEDED to upgrade to MS Vista is because? Is it because there are people hanging from a building in NY holding an ad for MS Vista? ;-/ I would think that a $50 hardware firewall/router would be a far better 'security' upgrade if they feel the need to run Microsoft software. Or put MS Windows in a virtual machine / sandbox for required apps. And now, with VirtualBox, they could even run OS/2 in a VM if there's software there they could use. The worth thing about this "new OS" is that customers will find it difficult to NOT get the product on a new computer and that infection will cost extra. At the very least, they'll have to pay to purchase and install the version/OS they are currently standardized on. Can you say, 'thank you sir, may I have another'? :-/ Doug
