I thought this was a particularly good thread so I would like to throw an
interesting option into the mix: the openRouter <http://www.myopenrouter.com/>.
Briefly, it's a Netgear router that runs open source software. I haven't
absorbed all the goodies yet, but it appears to support 802.11N and the source
libraries look pretty good at first glance.
I haven't tried it - or even seen one - but the idea may become of considerable
interest if ipv6 ever takes hold in a big way as I see a big mess coming with
existing ipv4 DHCP servers used by virtually all the current routers.
