Not to endorse yet another OT thread (and thanks for clearly labeling this one, Dave, as you always do!), but here's another tool for you:

Also, by design, I have allowed all formats for posting to this list. I can indeed narrow the allowed formats to plain text, but that would then trigger a rejection notice to those posting in other formats. While I *strongly* endorse and encourage the use of *only* plain text on all mailing lists, I realize that sometimes, for a variety of reasons, HTML is either the default for a given mailer (Outbreak & Outbreak Distress) or device (handheld or smart phone). Yes, I'm still a purist myself, and give permission to everyone on this list to personally come to my house and kick me - hard - if I should ever post in HTML without good reason. :-)
