Your sentiments are much appreciated. And yes, it surely does help to know that misery loves company, and that I'm not alone in fighting the windmills. Just to get off of Verizon's router (which does seem to be behaving better the past couple of days - though I obviously shouldn't say anything), I'm going to be signing up with Covad. The service level is essentially the same, but I've had better luck with their support of late, possibly because I have a couple clients using them and I'm listed as the admin contact.
