Greetings, all...I am inclined to ask why. The presumable answer is because the desktop is in a location where it is [difficult|impossible|prohibitively expensive] to run a cable. Another possibility is that the desktop isn't always in the same place.
In either case, what advantages are there (costwise or performancewise) to one of the ethernet bridges that seem to be available for around $50?
