I can connect to my router using WPA2-PSK using either the Asus or the
built in card and XWLAN.

In order to help a friend out we need another WPA2 AP, so I tried
setting the Asus up as an AP. If I set both XWLAN and the Asus to WPA
then it works but if I set both to WPA2 then I get

EAPOL-Key Replay Counter did not increase - dropping packet and it
never connects.
