Hi, Jordan. Apologies for the late follow-up...

The Genmac autodetect has worked for me, on the couple occasions when I installed one of the RC_ releases.  But those were on fresh, complete installs of eCS.  How might this be redone -- for a different NIC -- for an existing setup, rather than having to do a complete new install from scratch ?  Please go into detail.

If you have eCS 2.0 RC 7 media:

  1. Go to x:\CID\SERVER\ECSPKG (where x: is the drive letter of your
     CD drive) and run GENMAC2.WPI.
  2. The installer will autodetect any supported cards and will install
     the drivers for them.
  3. Open MPTS, and you should be able to select your newly installed
network card from the list. Bind it as you normally would, *after*
removing the "old" card from the configuration, if present.

If you do not have the eCS 2.0 installation media:

  1. Go to http://genmac.netlabs.org/en/site/downloads.xml and download
the full installer (unless you know which card is in the system).
  2. Run the WPI file, and then follow steps 2-3, above.
