I didn't see this message earlier.  It is VERY relevant.  Depending on
your location where you get onto the internet you may be getting a
very high latency to the DNS server your using.  So when you lookup a
site by name the query goes to your configured DNS server to translate
that name to an IP Address.  So if your DNS server has high latency or
if your consumer level router is doing DNS for you and its CPU get's
busy it can make web browsing VERY slow.  So using DNS Benchmark from

http://www.grc.com/dns/benchmark.htm

you can find the best performing DNS server for your physical location
and improve your web browsing experience a great deal.
