I have one of these. It is a powerful little box that can be configured many ways, including repeater mode (AP and client simultaneously), and is small enough to pack in most laptop bags. At home, I use it with an external parabolic antenna to get wireless access from our other house (300 yards away). At $99, it may not be the cheapest solution you can find.
