It's not clear that there's an xwlan monitor widget in that screen. In tray 5 it shows a bunch of
object handles; two have meaningful names (WP_DRIVES and WP_CONFIG) and the others are
each 5 hex digits - most userfriendly indeed!
I think I'm about to write it off as a bungled migration and do a total reinstall.
