I wonder why we are accosting ourself to the brand name "Thinkpad". There are other brands around which are less eCS unfriendly, so why wouldn't we expand our field of view?If this is such common knowledge as your comments imply, why did I getHopefully I'll be able to do some tests in the next few weeks. I am supposed to be getting a T60 (no idea what hardware will be in it) that I can do a little testing with.
the 'should not be a problem' responses when I asked about the T60 back
in October, BEFORE I ordered the two systems. Sounds like great 20-20
hind sight. And, especially when the GenMac announcement EXPLICITLY
says it DOES support the PRO/1000 [vendor:device match exactly].
