The T60 is using a graphics chipset that isn't supported by SNAP. I'd guess
that it would be slower than my old T21. With no sound support, and slow
graphics, it sounds like a poor choice.

But I've got to thank the people who go out an buy these things, and then post
how poorly they worked under eCS. It helps me to make my decision for my future
machines.

Actually, the SNAP support on my T60 systems is one of the brighter
spots.  I did have to install the most current driver to get the
Win-OS2 working.  But, that part of my T60 seems OK.

Granted, I am not interested in high intensity graphics, movies, etc. And, when I asked about the WiFi, PRO/1000, I thought I had received
positive comments about those working.  I did get advice to purchase
the Intel GMA 950 instead of the ATI Mobility chipsets.

I'm still hoping for some miracle on the WiFi and PRO/1000.  I also got
some bad advice on the audio.  Close, but no hand grenades or
horseshoes around to make up the distance... :-(

Are you trying to use GenMac for the Intel PRO/1000 - there are native OS/2 drivers from intel for this model - now whether the very latest version of PRO/1000 is different is a question, however, I would check the Intel website if I were you, you may be positively surprised. WiFi is likely to be a longer trail for some chipset on some versions of eComStation.

Hmm... I thought I'd heard that there were no native drivers, and I
thought I'd verified that.  I'll check again and report back.
