I had to rebuild my T43 and now after installing eCS Beta 3 I get the
following error during boot. No valid hardware info in protocol.ini for ("WRNDS32$ ")

Known problem, I had the same, you are most likely missing
the VENDOR and DEVICE lines missing, see below for what
it should look like (Intel 2200 on a T42p)

Jens, Actually it turned out to be something totally different. I did not
have the Wired (Broadcom) NIC defined in MPTS yet. When I added the
IBM TP43  Broadcom NIC Driver, it now loads. My next problem is that xWLan 3.0 does not show the device as
available. When I click on the device tab nothing is shown. There are
no strange error messages in the LanTran.log and I'm still running
the 1.24 Bios on my TP 43. I had this working once, before the re-build, but I'm clueless at the
moment as to what to try next. Eric Erickson

Make sure HELPERW.exe is the VERY FIRST line in Config.sys.

Make sure in MPTS that the Genmac WiFi card has at least one protocol assigned (usually TCPIP).
