Hi, Julian. My T43 is a 2687-DDU, and everything works with the exception of the WinModem (no great loss, there; I carry a Megahertz 56Kbps PCMCIA card with me in case of emergencies). Tips for the T43 (which I really should include in a note on the Notebook/2 site (one of these days):
* If using a model with the Broadcom NIC, use a recent build (I'm
using 8.53, but 10.3 is now available - I haven't played with the
new one very much).
* The Intel 2915ABG tri-mode Wi-Fi is fully supported by GenMAC, but
you may want to update the Windows driver (in the wrapper) to the
latest build. These cards suffer (on all platforms utilizing the
Windows driver) from dropout and stall conditions which Intel has
addressed in the more recent drivers.
* SNAP works well, though check out my comments to Hakan with regard
to running different resolutions between projector and display
(not sure if this is possible). Mine has the ATI Mobility Radeon
X300 on the Intel 915PM northbridge. I do not know how well the
all-Intel models fare.
* Sound works with UNIAUD, and works well.
* I haven't played with the IR in the machine, but it's on my list.
My assumption is that it wil work just fine.
* As you may recall, with your assistance in Windsor, my USB is
working beautifully.
* I just tried installing the 218 build of ACPI the other evening,
and had some issues with it. However, that may very well have been
because it was a first attempt. Typically, I use APM, and my
battery life is a little over an hour. My understanding is that
ACPI should extend this somewhat, and keep the fan and HDD from
spinning at full throttle while on battery.
* I do not have Bluetooth in mine (nor do we have any BT drivers at
this point, anyway).
* Contrary to my earlier statements about the Active Protection
System merely being a BIOS-level feature with a Windows monitor,

It would be interesting to see if we could port the work from
HDAPS (http://tinyurl.com/rgun5 and http://tinyurl.com/36kx92) to
OS/2.
Hakan has a T43p, and he may have some other things to add (the "p" is for "performance").
