FWIW, when I was trying to get UniAud to work on my T60, part of a
thread when I asked about how to deal with all IRQs being defaulted to
'11' and there was this response:

So, maybe it is not productive to investigate IRQs?  Personally, I have
no clue!  As I'm sure you've figured out,  PC hardware is a mystery to
me... :-(
