I have been using version 8.28 of the Broadcom driver on my T43p andI went through so much agony during my initial setup finding a stable B57 driver (and I have had similar experiences with HP/Compaq servers using Broadcom chips), that I haven't had the guts to try to move off of the one I'm using.
decided to try version 9.12 of the driver because of some problems I
have been having. After copying the 9.12 driver files over the
corresponding files from 8.28, the machine now hangs when reaching the
Broadcom B57 driver at startup. Restoring the 8.28 files also restored
the ability to boot.
Has anyone used version 9.12 of the drivers successfully on a TP?
