Andy figured out the same thing to get VirtualPC to work with a wireless network card.
I think it was actually Dave Saville that came up with the way to do it... I just use it.
But, it leads me to this question... has anyone gotten the TAP driver for VirtualBox to work with a wireless network card?
Here it works really well with the wired card but blows out the wireless sop that even the base system looses connectivity.

From the readme.os2:
Vbox now comes with 2 different interfaces:
VboxBFE.EXE and VirtualBox.exe .. these will be mentioned as the
SDL version and QT version SDL version is a simple version where everything is done from CMD line,
but this version is more reliable than QT version, and is the only
frontend, where Hif/Tap networking currently works.
QT version has nice GUI for just about all setups, and makes life easier
for any end user - but for now several features do not work with this
version, and it is not SMP safe (see FAQ)
Which mode are you running VBox/2 in ? Perhaps SDL (command line) version will work for you where the GUI version will not ?
