Cannot load reg-key - eCS2.0rc7, VirtualBox3.2, wind7 on ThinkpadT510

Hi,
In preparation for the imminent availability of eCS2.0GA, I'm trying to
get eCS2.0rc7 running in the latest VirtualBox.
I've searched for & found instructions for the best settings, but
whatever I do I cannot see either my USB stick or a shared folder
containing my registration key file from the key input file browser.
My next attempt will be inserting the registration key file into the ISO
if I cannot find a better way.
