I'm still waiting for my system to boot, sometimes as long as 10 minutes! I think it is related to an occasional error I have with peer. I have another email in the hopper, waiting for me to get more data before sending it off. It's an "NET3195: An NCB error occurred: NET1. The NCB is the data." error when attached to my CAT-5 wire. It boots right up w/ wireless. The boot hangs with the first line of the config.sys displayed, the unicode cp-850 line. I believe both nic's were working right as a single cpu but since I've changed the psd line I've noted this problem. I really like that new object, "ecomstation kernel", lots of good info. Unfortunately, it doesn't show apm & acpi versions. I have to following versions: apm.add = 1.23 apm.sys = 10.163 acpi.psd = 3.08 hmmmm, I may have inadvertently changed my tcp config. I just checked the tcpip config notebook and I only have one interface enabled. Shouldn't I have an interface for the wireless nic AND the wired nic enabled? 2 interfaces... I need to check that out, it might be my problem w/ the ncb error. thanks, jon
